Care for Kids

When daddy or mommy is deployed it is often more difficult to have the extra cash on hand to fund things like after school activites and tutoring, and this is probably one of the most important ways to cope with the difficulty of having a loved one away. Our ASY Live interview today was with Gail Kruzel of Our Military Kids, an organization that provides funding for fun activities. The organization provides funding for kids from kindergarden all the way to high school. Here's their website: http://www.blogger.com/www.ourmilitarykids.org and an article about them http://www.americasupportsyou.mil/americasupportsyou/Content.aspx?ID=44971847

Also, this is a great Pentagon Channel Recon discussing the difficulty of deployment on our children and ways to cope.
