ASY Above and Beyond : TroopFest '08

Hi! Julie DeMaria here, co founder of America Supports You homefront group Operation: Care and Comfort...We have a fantastic event coming up this weekend in the San Francisco Bay Area, to honor our service members, veterans and their families...TroopFest 2008 is our third annual benefit concert and festival, held on board the historic USS Hornet aircraft carrier and museum in Alameda! Here's the link to read all about it, including pictures from 2006- www.troopfest.org. With entertainment from local classic rocks bands and headliners The Greg Kihn Band and Tony Lindsay (lead singer of Santana) and support from bay area sports teams (The SF Giants, Oakland Raiders, Oakland Athletics, San Jose Earthquakes and San Jose SaberCats all joined America Supports You this week!), this event will be our best ever! We will be rocking and rolling in the bay area to support our troops this Armed Forces Day and wish you could all be here to join us! Funds raised will be used to ship care packages to Iraq and Afghanistan.
